Israel A Blessing To The Nations.

There was a report out on Friday that has suggested that the Obama administration is considering sanctions against Israel because of their continued building of housing in Jerusalem. At the same time the administration is urging congress to not impose anymore sanctions on Iran, which is trying to become a nuclear nation, and would clearly become more of a threat in the middle east than they already are
So if I understand correctly, we are going to after our one and only true ally, Israel, for building homes on lands that have belonged to them for something like 3,500 years, yet reward Iran ,which has stated most clearly that they not only want to destroy Israel, but destroy us and anyone else who would get in their way of a world wide caliphate. In what sane universe does this make any sense?

First of all if Iran continues unchecked with it's nuclear program, make no mistake they will use it to make Nuclear weapons and become a bigger threat to the world then they already are. Think there is trouble now? Wait until they can force other oil producing nations to bend to their will.

Secondly, and I personally believe that this is by far worse, it's looks as if we are going to toss Israel under the bus. This does not bode well for us. History has shown that those nations that embraced the Jewish people have thrived while those nations that either booted them out or tried to kill them were ultimately destroyed.

The truth is that Israel does not need us they have G-d and He is proving that He has their backs, however we need them.

The bible tells us very clearly that G-d blessed Abraham, Issac and Jacob and that their children would be as numerous as the sands of the sea. That kings and nations would arise from them but even more importantly was that the world would be blessed through them.

Gen. 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Gen. 18:18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
Gen. 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Gen. 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
Gen.27:29 Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.
Gen 28: 14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

In the modern world Israel or Jewish individuals have been responsible for many breakthroughs in medicine and medical technology. The cell phone or computer that you are using right now has Israeli technology in it. Music, literature and art are all filled with Jewish people and most modern free countries laws come from the laws given to Israel at Mont Sinai. They have been a blessing to the world since the beginning and they still continue to this day.

But what happens when nations toss the Jews out or tries to destroy them?

Consider Spain, before the Spanish inquisition, the nation prospered, and for a long time the kings and queens of Spain resisted the Catholic churches demands that the Jews be forced to convert. Once they did concede and took all the wealth of the Jews and either killed or kicked out those who wouldn't convert, they went from being one of the greatest nations to nothing and bankrupt. To this day they have never again been a real power in the world.

Germany was basically destroyed because of their Fascist hatred of the Jews.

During the last war that Israel had in Gaza, a Hamas leader,was recorded saying that he was amazed at how much “their G-d”, meaning Israel's, was protecting them from the missiles. One report even stated that on a perfectly windless day that they fired a missile at an civilian area and a strong wind picked up just before impact and blew so hard that it pushed the missile into the sea and harmed no one.

We in the United States have traditionally supported Israel and the Jewish people and have considered them to be great friends and allies. I believe that we have been seriously blessed because of it, but history shows us that if we don't continue to support and defend the Jews and Israel ,eventually the Jews here will see troubles just as they have historically elsewhere and we ,as a great nation, may find ourselves in no better a position then Spain or Nazi Germany was.

Gen. 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
